Resurrecting a 79 firebird 403
Issue: The radiator water is dirty and sooty looking.... black.
-Sitting a few years.
-Brand new radiator.
-no oil in water is evident.
-have filled & drained radiator 4 times now. seems to be dissipating to some, but still significant i wont her this way.
What is easiest / best way to flush engine?
I figured at this point I need to get 3 way adapter/short piece of 3/4" heater hose & flush with engine running from the front side heater hose/top of water pump with radiator cock open
Do I perhaps have a bigger issue with dirty black sooty water?
