I completely agree. We had my dad for 13 months after he was diagnosed with cancer. I feel so very bless to have had the TA to work on with him that year. Our time could not have been spent any better. I took that year off work and we spent every day on the car. This was his dream car, and he lived just long enough to see it finished.

This was our 3rd project car. 72 mustang (for my mom, can't account for her taste) 73 Ranchero and finally the TA.  I was to young to be any help for the 1st 2 cars. But I was there learning about tools and helping with any little thing I could LOL

Thats one beautiful T/A you have there. Sure looks clean,even under the hood  .Thanks for sharing pics with us and keep up the good work .
Its nice seeing the younger generation continuing to show interest in the second generation Tran Am's

Great car and a cute blonde...an excellent combination  8) . And you have t-tops too. Reminds me of the black Trans Am with the blonde girl picture in the 79 Pontiac dealer brochure, as shown below. You could set up a very similar picture with you in your car! You might have to get some "cut-offs" to wear for authenticity  ;D .

LOL Steve, I think I have that outfit. Tank Top and cut-offs are a staple in the southern girls wardrobe.

Beautiful story and car, I know you are proud of the history behind this car and of your Father. My condolences on your loss. I think it's awesome you spent his last year together, that is precious time well spent indeed.
