Jeff... that's it.  The "don't hassle the hoff" t-shirt is getting a total makeover... you can't talk me out of it now.

The seller that was selling the CD's sent me an email after the listeg was removed from Ebay.  Here what he wrote:

"HI, IF YOU ARE STILL INTERESTED IN THE 5M0KEY & THE BANDIT CD, PLEASE CONTACT ME AT STARSHIP02554@YAHOO.COM. IF NOT, I APPOLOGISE.
REGARDS......ALESSANDRO"

So, I asked:

"How much did you want for it?  And why was your listing removed?"

He responded:

"HEY.  BASICALLY EBAY CANCELLED THE AUCTION BECAUSE THE CD IS A COPY ( A PERFECT COPY THOUGH!).  HOWEVER THERE IS NO REASON WE CAN'T PROCEED ON OUR OWN.  YOU CAN STILL USE PAYPAL, SO YOU WOULD HAVE THEIR PAYMENT SECURITY, WE JUST WOULDN'T BE ABLE TO LEAVE FEEDBACK FOR EACH OTHER.

AS FOR THE PRICE, YOU MUST UNDERSTAND THE FAN CLUB CD'S ARE VERY RARE.  I PAID ALMOST $200 FOR MINE A COUPLE OF YEARS AGO!  THE COPIES I'VE MADE PLAY PERFECT, YOU CANNOT TELL THE DIFFERENCE WHEN LISTENING.  I HAVE MANAGED TO SELL A FEW ON EBAY ABOUT A YEAR AGO, AND THOSE WENT FOR AROUND $65.00 PLUS SHIPPING.

WITH THIS IN MIND, I AM ASKING $55.00  inc SHIPPING.

REGARDS.....ALESSANDRO "

So, I sent him back an email:

"Do you have a photo of the CD that you could email me.... the one you made a copy of for this one.  From what I remember in the auction, it stated that this would be a copy on a CD-R that would come in a plastic or paper sleeve.  Am I correct?"

Lets see what he responds with........

I would report him for trying to make a sale after the listing was removed.  It was a violation of ebay terms.  Forward the email to spoof@ebay.com.
