Just joined the TA club...Y88
« on: January 26, 2014, 08:11:33 PM »
I just purchased this Y88 yesterday.  I had been looking for a black se, but this car was close and the deal seemed right.  I could not find any rust and it runs and drives great.
I do question the interior, can this be original?  All I have seen have solid camel interior vinyl or cloth, not this material with the design in the middle.

Squirrel, that is exactly what I had suspected.  It looked like a 79 interior to me.

looks like the wheel color is wrong & it shows the polished edges instead of paint with rusty gold color. This car was on ebay recently.

Gaz you are correct, it was on ebay.  I though the solid painted gold snowflake was all you could get with the WS6 package in the 15X8's, but without the WS6, you could get the 15X7 snowflakes with the polished edges.  I maybe wrong, but thought I had read that here on hitmans page about wheels.

The Y88 WS6 wheels like yours will have the 8inch wheels with all rusty gold & polished edges. Even though your car is not a WS6 car those wheels will still look good with correct Y88 color code. Hitman's store has the correct Y88 seat covers. I just got my Y88 cloth seat covers & they look perfect.
