Topic: Question about 77-78 T/A's

ok T/A guru's I have a few questions about a 77-78 T/A's one, was th400 available in these years? Two I've seen 2 different birds on the 78 model. The "german style" and the bird that come standard ( I assume) on the 79 model. Are these both correct for the 78 model? Thanks.

No, I don't think there were any that came with a th400. As far as the birds,

This style came on 73-77 and all 78s that were not a Y88 (gold special edition) or a non-se car painted solar gold. Those cars got the 79-80 style bird.

last year for the th400 in an f-body was 1974. After that, they're th350's.
