I found a memory card for the Nikon yesterday, so I guzzled some gas, did some burnouts, and took some photos.

Sun was a bit too harsh, but it was kind of spur of the moment.

Awsome car and color I grew up riding around in a friends brown 78 Formula. My dad went to buy me a brown 78 Trans Am 4 speed car for graduation but it didn't work out, so I have great memories for the brown cars. Keep the pics coming let's see the interior.

Those rims were made by a company called Appliance back in the 70s. You can not get these anymore unless you get super lucky and find a good used set.

Thanks for all the comments guys.  :)

To answer some questions (although some already have been), they're VSE/Appliance 15x8 wheels.  They were bought some time in the late 70's - I haven't seen another set for sale yet, or really even a set on another car.  The motor is essentially stock - just an intake and headers/exhaust, so no it's not really a beast or anything.  But no mufflers, just glass packs, so it does sound the part at least...   All the real modifications are in the suspension.

And I'm on the fence about a hood bird.  I kind of like it without.  :)

sorry about the loss of your uncle but congratulations about the car. the honour must be beyond words. the car looks fantastic dude, the stance is perfect and those rims suit it so well! dont ever get rid of those rims. great job with the camera as well. i really liked the 1st and last shots, particularly the last because you can see the heat distortion coming out of the fender vent, very cool!
