Topic: 1980 Trans Am Indy Pace Car

Just picked up this little beauty barn find. Hoping to restore her to as close to original as possible with a few minor upgrades . Everything appears to be there and original numbers matching. Body is very solid and in fantastic shape. The motor runs well but needs a real good tune up. The interior is going to need some love but all n all it's in pretty good shape for a 36 yr old. Going to start tinkering today. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Nice find! The links work fine was able to view your pics. Car looks like it's in pretty good shape overall. My advice to you is take a lot of pictures if you take something apart, and label things good. Good luck on the restore and congrats on the buy!

Real nice 80, if you want to keep it original I might havd some parts you might be interested in . All of them original gm and never used . If your interested let me know.
