So I got the itch to try to track down some more info on the history of my TA. I
think I could be owner #3. The guy I bought from said he had the car for 20 years (would have bought it in 91 or 92). He bought it with 60,000 miles on it and it now has around 120,000. The title says it was previously titled in Minnesota. I was able to find pieces of the build sheet under the passenger seat (maybe around half of it) and I confirmed it was delivered to Bob Hall Motors in Elk River, Mn (looks to be just north of the twin cities). I can't find any trace of that dealership on the internet so my assumption is that it is out of business (maybe it was a Pontiac dealership). I contacted the MN DMV and they weren't able to find the VIN of the car in their system
I know vins prior to 80-81 are hard to track so I guess not too surprising.
Am I out of luck at this point trying to figure out the Minnesota car history? Any Minnesota members hear of Bob Hall Motors in Elk River?
