Hi,
I've been toying around with the idea of selling my car. I just don't drive it much any more. I've owned it since 1985 and it's original paint, never been wrecked and has been garaged for the last 25 or so years. I drive it a couple times a year and it runs great.
455 with ported Edelbrock heads
Victor Jr. manifold
Holley 950 HP carb
Has run best of 10.96 @ 124 in street form with no nitrous
It is missing the front spoilers and the rears need to be replaced.
How much would it be worth as is? I would probably replace the spoilers and may put new tires on it. Current rear tires are a bit too big and rub too much.

I should have mentioned it's a California car and originally came with a 403 Olds and an automatic. ~140,000 miles

Do you live in an area that has emissions test? Will it pass an emissions test? If it doesn't then it is just parade vehicle. No disrespect intended. It looks really sharp and I am sure you have taken excellent care of it. But if it is not a car that you can drive daily, given current emissions laws, then it is just a nice car to take out on occasion that may have tag and insurance restrictions – meaning a more limited market.
Once again I am not putting your vehicle down. I like it a lot, but you have to be realistic. The rollbars and other modifications have limited the market of those who would buy it.
With that being said I would guess it should command 10-12K to the right individual. If it can pass emission (or if you live in an area that does not have emission test) I would add about 4K to those figures….but ultimately, given the modifications, you wil are going to have a much more narrow market and it is only going to be worth what someone will pay for it. I would also get rid of the big cowl induction hood and replace it with the original shaker hood if your aftermarket intake would allow for it - but that is just my opinion.

Yes, emissions are enforced in my area. My thinking is to sell it to someone in an area where they are not enforced. This has been one of my issues with the car. Where I live, they used to move up the exemption year every few years, I think it was 65 at one point and then 72, then 75, but then they stopped moving it. I keep hoping they'll move it again, but it's probably been 15 years since the last move.
The cowl induction hood is to clear the taller manifold, etc. Luckily I still have the original hood and all the stuff to change it back. I think the cowl hood looks OK for a drag race car, but not so much for something like a pro-touring car. It also blocks the driver's view quite a bit.

No problem man. If it was my car I would replace the intake with a stock height aluminum one and put the original hood an shaker on it so the car would be more "presentable" and easier to drive. You can then sell your hi-rise and cowl hood to the buyer if they want them or sell them separately. You may also want to consider removing the roll bars for the same reason....I am sure the vehicle is a bear to get in and out of with those. LOL. Anyway, good luck in selling it I hope you get what you want. I feel quite confident it will sell, it just may take some time.
