Topic: rear defrost relay - can this work?

Hi everyone.  Still in process of restoring my 1978 TA  Am now looking at the rear window defrost. My car did not come with one so I am adding it. My question is the defroster relay. I have one for a 78 X body (527361). Can it be used in my 1978 F body which is supposed to use a 10026262. ?? 

I also have another relay.  10010492.  I can't find it in the book to know what car/year it was made for.  Can this be used?  It has an extra terminal and not sure what attaches to it.

Hi Caroline, have you checked it doesn't have a relay already?  All cars were fitted with one even if not used.

Yes, I've checked.  The socket is empty.
