I do not have the original dipstick on my engine. I am wondering how many quarts/liters my 455 takes. In the past I let the shop change my oil but have decided i'm going to just do it myself. I have read on other forms 4 in the pan and one in the filter and also 5 in the pan and one in the filter. Does anyone have a book that can let me know who is correct. Thx in advance. Also I have been told not to run synthetic, apparently it eat cork gaskets?? I'm going to run a 10-30 oil, not sure what the book calls for.
