RAAMmat is a less expensive alternative to Second Skin and Dynamat while still being a high quality product.  Might be worth looking into.

I have been on every search engine looking for a resonable sound deadening material. Everything I have run into is either WAY overpriced or roofing material.

I literally had given up looking and was ready to just throw my carpet in without any sound deadening. I will be ordreing some this weekend.
