Make sure to use a proper tool to remove and install it or you'll mess other things up too.  Lots of good stuff on Youtube and other places showing how this is done.  Not too bad really.

I am not sure I will take a video and post it on youtube and post a link to it on here. I will post it tonight.
I don't know much about these counterweight and balancers.
The only reason I think its bad is my neighbor noticed it looked funny.
It drives like a beast (but I don't want to break it).
Thanks in advance for your patience and help guys it means alot for a young military guy like me. (don't have alot of free time to try and figure it out.)

It's pretty easy to tell. If you look at the harmonic balancer while the engine is running and it is wobbling, it's time to replace it. It should be running straight and true with no wobble. Also, in case you didn't know, a harmonic balancer and a vibration damper are just different names for the same thing.

Just out of curiousity would this one work as well? I dont want to go to crazy with it but would like to upgrade it to protect the engine if possible, this is a really new engine in this car and I would like to preserve it if at all possible.

Well thats exactly what I am trying to avoid, I dont want overkill but I would really like to improve within a justifiable range. what about this one?

same balancer different name, nothing wrong with either at all, but an oem from Dorman will do just fine and a lot cheaper

Just make sure you take your Old one with you if you pickup at a Local Parts Store.  I got mine from Napa, about $60 and everything lined up.

I know Autozone had the Dorman when I checked and so did Oreillys, but closer to the $70-80 if I remember right?
