   i was thinking of scraping off the seam sealer, and putting down a nicer bead. looks like they painted over the sealer- so if i did that, i'd have to repaint the cowl. hence my question to you guys...

I am not a purest for them,  I like a clean look.  I would of already cut that crap off. but I'm sure you will get 10 post telling you to leave it alone.

EXACTLY!!! i like the clean look as well. from what i've seen on here, everyone seems to be painting the cowl black. however, i thought of something cool last night. the factory didn't paint it black, it appears to be a gray-ish color. maybe i'll refinish it in that same color to give it a cool contrast to the black hardware and cowl screens.

it should be your TATA color silver.  you car is to nice to change any thing on it. I would clean it up , but put it back to the OE color.  something little like that color change will be a modification at the t/a Nats.
but she's yours and I'm cool with what ever you do with it.  she's a beauty

  talked to Butler performance today- the engine will done next month!!! wooooohooooooo! i chose a really, really cool option to go with that i won't tell anyone about ('till it shows up and i get some pictures ) >:D
