I don't want to hijack your thread with pics of my car so I'll just post a link that has some pictures. The ride height is wrong in these pictures, but it'll give you an idea of how the wheels look. Also, you'll quickly spot that I didn't go with a factory TATA paint scheme.

wow! that looks really good! its funny, i toyed with the idea of changing the paint scheme when it comes time for that but wasn't sure how i would do it. i was thinking of lots of differant ideas, and glad to see someone else actually did it. the wheels look good as well. i didn't know how snowflakes would look on TATA, but i have to say i like it. how were the people at YO? i heard they were are pretty tuff when it comes to choosing wheel offset, and backspacing. they are like "these are custom wheels when you order. if you order the wrong ones, you're stuck with them."

Hey, thanks for the compliments, really appreciate another TATA owner approving of the changes.

My wheels are off the shelf items so ordering was a breeze. I was thinking about a custom size from another manufacturer, but that was for a different type of wheel. I kept dragging my feet with the custom wheel,  then YO came out with these and I pulled the trigger.

Since the width was close to what I wanted to run, I figured just to order them and be done with it. I got lucky as the stock Silver wheel matched up with my paint almost exactly. I am using a Nissan Silver with the factory Charcoal color. Not sure how the stock Silver would compare.

Now I would like to investigate having a 17" turbo wheel and am talking to a few local shops to have them made, but we're talking several thousand $$. Maybe in the future, but I'm still trying to dial-in my car mechanically.

This looks awesome, will be nice to hear it run ;) Also, I like the look of the 17" Snowflakes on the TATA;) I'm considering it myself now, since I don't have the original turbo wheels anyway (got some om my Turbo Trans Am :P)

i have a set of turbo flow wheels i bought a looooooooong time at a show in case mine were ever damaged. they aren't off a TATA however. i think two are white and two are gold ('80-'81 models i beleive). you can have them if you want them. they are in decent shape but need to be refinished.

i'm also considering those 18" silver snowflakes by Year One. however, they don't help much when it comes to correct backspacing, so i'll have to figure all that out on my own i guess.

have you ever seen that YO green '73? they didn't tub that one and used 18X9.5's all the way around. i think they used 275/40's. i really wanted to go bigger on the back, but i have to accept the fact since i'm not doing a mini-tub, my choices are very limited. i wish those guys were easier to deal with in regards to the wheels.
