Rain, trust me when I tell you it's NOT a landfill. It's a shop that does ALOT of work.I know that right now they are working on 2 78TA's , there is a vette on a lift, and the last time I was there they were finnishing a Camaro and a Cutlass. Plus this guy has 30 or 40 shelves with nothing but parts, parts, parts.
.
But as you can see, they stay busy and are really moving on my car. I'm glad I found ALLMUSCLECARS.They have a website......ALLMUSCLECARS.COM

So you can check out some of their work. Plus as you can see they provide me with HIGH quality pictures and video on a regular basis. I very happy with how this is moving and the level of professionalism and knowledge they show. These guy love what they do!

Shop(s)..  One shop appears to be about 1500 to 2000 Sq ft . You could easily pull 5 cars in that shop at one time. One nice thing is they are located in Georgia so I can visit alot easier than traveling to Swannanoa,NC.

Just called and asked the owner how big his main shop was and he told me 4800 sq/ft so....I guess I was incorrect in stateing 2000sq/ft. I apologize. I made a mistake.

your ta sounds healthy.  not to be rude or insensitive but how much $ do you think you will have into that ta when
said and done, including the mishap at BAB.

Squirrel, I can tell you I have 15k in the car and 4,500 in the motor. Ive given the builder 3K and I'm going tomorrow to look at the progress and cut him a check for 1500 more. So I can't give you a bottom line figure yet because I'm still unsure how we are going to do the interior. I say that because is not a #'s correct car, I'm putting a 200r4 tranny in it instead of the th400 that was supposed to go in it so the builder suggested that we might want to look at a more modern interior such as camaro power seats, door sills that have TRANS AM CNC'd in the sill like my 2012 mustang.
Possibly new electronics in the dash with a back up cam, ect,ect ect. So I can't give you a bottom line just yet but I will give you a final tally. One thing I can tell you is I'll never get out of it what I've got in it , but I suspect I'm not the only person on this site in that situation.

Most of the time you never get out of them what you put into them. But if your going to build and keep the car then every penny is worth it because it's a car built just the way YOU want it. I suspect that if I would have had to pay for everything on my car I'd have close to 55,000 in my car. It's a nothing special car non matching number but built the way I wanted to do it.

Wow Flounder that sounds sick!  You've got some great ideas and I can't wait to see the outcome .

I paid a premium for the Marty because it was very low mileage and rust free , and then another 6 grand for taxes and shipping , and then another grand fixing misc, then 700 bucks on tires .
It added up but I could care less . I didn't buy the Marty in the hopes of making money from a sale , but for me to enjoy and relive what it was like when I bought my 77 .
I have no regrets and really enjoy having her for photography .
I don't think you can put a price on the fun I have touring around with her and the comments I get from others

Thanks Rain but I can't take credit for alot of it.Dennis at ALLMUSCLECARS suggested most of those ideas. I was looking at the Camaro on Trans Am Depot's website and like the seats in that "Trans Am" car.I like the Trans Am logo embroidered in the headrests. I'd kinda like to change the console as well but we will see.

It's a work in progress and I'm not sure what's going to happen but I like his ideas for the car.

just a suggestion, skip over the stuff hes mentioning, unless you dont have any seats at the moment.... otherwise youll be looking at approx 1000-1500 for front seats to get them upholstered and fit in.... the cnc sill plates are just a small thing to add that you will never see/notice, because the doors will be closed..... that one is mostly a money waster....

should have just bought my car, and I would have resprayed it in black for you.... haha

Your car had the 200r4 with a 3.08 rear? power seats?......maybe your right...I think at this point economics is a moot point.....
