Topic: 1978 Fornula Two-Tone Paint

Hello,I'm restoring a 1978 Formula and it's almost ready for paint. The upper color will be white and the lower color will be black. I plan on using the W50 Decal Package from Phoenix Graphix.  What I need to know is how far up the body should the lower color go? I know there is a very light body line near the bottom however, I need to know the measurements from the bottom of the body on the doors,front and rear bumper. I have a ton of pics but I'd really like to do it right instead of doing it by pics. Any help with this would be great!

That was the first place I looked. I have the '78-'79 Chassis and Fisher body manuals, all it gives me is the decal specs to apply the decals to the car.

Page 2C-32 of the '78 Pontiac Service manual lists the details, largely decal pinstriping heights, and only loosely followed in production.

A little different from the original post, but wondering about the decal direction of the FORMULA on the lower doors?  My originals lean towards the front of the car and I'm doing new stuff from Phoenix Graphics.  Debating about if the decals should face the other way leaning toward the back as if the wind is blowing the top of the lettering if that makes sense?  What do you other W50 Formies have going as I've seen both in pictures on the net?

Original is leaning forwards slightly, the lettering matches the angle at the front of the door. Have seen them replaced both ways, even some cheap versions don't even have a lean, cheaper again are solid lettering.

Thanks for the confirmation.  That was what I was "leaning" towards ... sorry, couldn't help that 

I did kind of like it the other way too, but want original set-up confirmed.
