crome valve covers (factory??)

did crome valve covers come on 78 ta 400 from the factory.....read an artical on a car that says it did ...also my 78 has the same exact stock looking crome valve covers ....no bigie just woundering...

The W72 got the chrome valve covers on the 400 from 77-79 I believe. The other 400s got painted covers.
