Love the hobnail touch on the seats, what did you use to create the dark spots.. a needle? Does the kit also include carpet? Reason  I ask is I have a Turbo T/A SE kit that also included carpet and rear speakers, working head and tail lights as well as working front suspension... took me 3 months to complete back in 1987.

Thanks guys for the complements.  I was just going to paint the seats camel.  I decided to try the hobnail.  I just used a "Sharpie" black pen to place the dots, then resprayed the seats with the SEM camel die. This little project makes me appreciate you guys that do it with the real cars :)  I will try to post a few more pictures as I progress.  Rarebird, no carpet or lights.  The plastic interior has the carpet look ::), but no real carpet.  I gotta finish this thing, and pay attention to my wife, (don't tell my real T/A ;))

Hey guys, been a little busy lately.  I was able to get a little more done on the model last night.  Hope to have the model done in the next week or so.

Man that dash looks so good it hurts.

How did you do the gage faces? I'm blown away.

Great work!!!

The gauges were all the "water" type decals.  Lining them up behind the dash bezel was a little tricky.  I used a piece of photo paper that allowed me to slide the decals around while they were wet until they lined up.  Thanks again guys, and Hammer, great job with the non-smoking.  Keep it up my man.

Great looking job you got going on there.... I konw your eager to complete it, but from one hobbiest to another... take your time... taking the extra little time now pays off in fantastic details in the end.

Keep up the good work

I know this is a 1/8 scale model but seeing you hold it up really shows how big that thing is!  Looks great!
