I have 80 T/A Pace Car, and I understand that my car has Posi-Traction.

Am I correct to say that all the power from the tranny is distributed equally to both wheels?

What will happen if one of the wheel loose traction?

The '80 Indy T/A has limited slip which means that both tires have power in a straight line, but the diff. will allow the tires to "slip" enough to go around a corner without the rear of the car trying to pass the front like a true posi rear does.

Then that means I can make two straight black marks on the road instead of one.

Not in your car. :D   Besides, why would you want to do that?  It tears up your tires and is hard on your car.

When I was a kid, my liitle league coach had a new 1964 GTO.  Light green with the red stripe tires.  We'd get in it and plead with him to peel out.  He did a couple of times but then stopped saying he didn't want to wear out his tires.  In those days they didn't have steel belted radials and tires didn't last very long anyway.  That was a beautiful car.
