76 Pro Street T/A XtrmeTA
« on: October 09, 2007, 08:14:24 PM »
Heres a few pics of my project car that I just got in paint. The body was stripped down to bare metal and all the body mods were done. It has a one piece fiberglass tilt front end. I molded on the 6" scoop and the T/A vents. The did the side skirts and fiberglass wheel spoilers.
I didn't like the way the Hurst hatches fit so I removed them and made a Targa Top. Theres lots of custom toaches, like the taillights, flush mounted glass and the list goes on.
Some of you guys may not like that it has an 8-71 Supercharged 454 in it. I TH400 full manual with reverse valve body.
I S&W Race cars Super car rear with lazer link 4 link setup. Coil overs on all four cormers. Jim Myer racing front control arms.
Wilwood 4 piston caliber brakes all around. Way to much to list here.

You know you, me, Logik, and Tom from Muscle Car Alley (I'm sure there's others I missed from the area) really need to hook up next year for a cruise/convoy.

That's one heck of a beast you have there Extreme!

Hmmm...you left out the part where you told them about the rear window conversion... :D ;)

That by itself will freak out a lot of casual car show goers...:) ;)

Yes we should. Your a bit out there though. I will be at the Saratoga Firebird show this year coming up.

Have credit card (for gas$$), few bucks for tolls, and a set of keys - I'm willing to travel :)

Saratoga is on my list of things to do next year. Might want to plan to link up and cruise in as a group??

I'm one of the people who put on the show in Saratoga, so it's great to hear you're planning to attend the show. So come and hang out with us... will be waiting.

Nobody pickup on the rear window conversion yet. I did post some pics on a different board and one of the members was insisting it was a 74 ::). I had to post a pic of the window beofre I did any filler work on it before he beilived me. It was pretty funny.

If any one wants to meetup before the Saratoga show I am open for it. I'm just not willing to travel to far with the car yet. Still need to log some local miles on it.

I'll post up some pics of the motor when I get home tonight.

I havn't had the car to the track yet. It's a brand new car from top to bottom. I put the first 8 miles on it on Saturday. ;D

I definitly do not want a ride but damn I would love to drive it. That beast is awsome and I bet it shakes the hell out of the ground when she's running. Great work.
