Thanks for the updated pics!

Looks like they worked out some of the blems noted by another member on TAC so I think I'm sold on this route as opposed to going to Just Dashes or Dashboard Restorations for the 80 bird.

Not that it would show, but I'd like to see the backside of the dash.
Also still very curious about fitment....no rush though.

Yeah, the fitament concerns me too. How well the stuff fits into the openings and how well it meets the metal part of the dash. I have a nice 76 dash  that I want to send out to be restored but it may be more cost effective to go this route and suffer with the different size gap between the ashtray and radio. Like anybody would ever notice anyway!!

i just looked at your profile and it seems you and i are about 60 miles apart, so shipping would not be an issue if you wanted it.

Any update on how the dash fits?   Issues with installation?

dash is still in the box... work and weather have held me up from getting started. If its a decent day to disassemble the dash I am working over to get robots back in order, or if I get some free time its too dang cold to be working with vinyl. However I am still searching for minor parts for the dash such as radio plate and glove box hinge. I bought a radio plate from ebay but wrong year. No big loss in bucks.. less than 20.00. still tring to locate non A/C glove box. With hopes the next few weeks I should be able to get this finishing touch started.

the only differance I have noted is the radio faceplate area. The factory original faceplate is just a little too large for the reproduction and the shaft holes do not line up completely. All other mounting area are exact. I will have to think of something for the faceplate area. May use a bandsaw to gently disect the platehorizontally to reduce the size to make it fit.

This is interesting.  I think you're the first person I've heard of who's actually gotten one of these and is installing it.  Good info here! :) :)
