Thank you. Probably going to have the body work done way before I come up with the money for the motor work.

I got the underside blasted and got it covered back up using a product I have never used before (Rust Bullet) along with a product I have used for years called 3M Body Schutz which is undercoating. I have had really good luck with it. The Rust Bullet is supposed to have a high aluminum content which makes it a good base and pretty impenetrable.

The Body Schutz goes on wet and orange peely and dries to a nice flat, smooth finish

Okay, dug into my quarters this weekend. Ordered some skins because the previous owner had worked them over. I didn't realize how much they were cobbled until I cut into them. I was hoping I could save the inner structure but the very edge of the outer wheel well was rotten and the bottom of the lower trunk panel was rotten. So i cut it all out. Also finished cleaning up the areas I blasted and got some primer over them so they don't flash rust.

Looks very nice :) Wish I had a rotiserie and money to fix my 81 :( Also considering some PTFB components for either the 81 or the TATA ;)

Sad to see that people part out T\A's :( especially saveable ones

Thanks. The rotisserie isn't mine, I borrowed it from a friend who built it himself. I've been doing bodywork for 20 years and I still don't have all the tools I would like to have. The shop I'm using isn't even mine. Just fortunate to have a lot of friends that help me out and I return the favors as best I can.

Thanks guys. My quarter skins came in but the wheel wells and lower trunk filler didn't. So I am going to have to find something else to work on this weekend.
