When is he going to stop? 4th coat? 5th coat? Maybe he's afraid to tell you he doesn't actually know how to paint a car? lol

yeah, nothing fun about blocking and yes paint materials are extremly costly

most resto guys agree bodywork is the most costly step in a rebuild
