value of 77 ta 400 engine?

OK,I have an opportunity to purchase a 77 ta 400 engine mated to a muncie 4 speed,the engine has a spun bearing,trans is good he is asking 500 for both,what do you think?engine needs to be rebuilt and has 6 x heads (complete from oil pan to the ram air scoop) sitting on the pallet.

Are the heads 6X4 or 6X8. The T/A 6.6 should have the 6X4's and that would make a big dif. I would also worry about how the bearing spun. Just some thoughts.

900 for a ran when pulled out engine is the ballpark, im thinking 300 to 400 for a rebuilder with the trans
does it have a WA stamp on the engine? it should
