Sorry.  Not this year.  This was our 5th year anniversary and my wife wanted to go to Florida......so the Ohio trip went out the window.  She does want to come though...(Brett, she loves your '98 Ram Air).

Well your only 3 hr and 49 min away, according to MapQuest so it is close enough.
I dont have my car in driving condition, and cant attend the Nats but it would be fun to come and see the shop and mingle.
I'll have to check the dates and let you know.

Hey Brett!  Thanks for the invitation and I'm sure it would be a great time.  But, as most others, Team Hoghead will not be leaving for the Nationals until Friday morning.  Joe, Cameron, and I will be arriving in Dayton Friday evening.  The Trans Am Country (TAC) members are meeting Friday night at the Fairfield Inn.  If you're free, come on by and visit.

We'll see you at the Nationals!!

Brett, Thanks for the phone call last night and the invite to caravan out there. I will HOPEFULLY already be in Dayton but the time you guys hit Columbus.  As I said in an earlier post, Trans Am Country guys are having a pizza dinner pool party Friday night the 25th. Its at the Fairfield Inn on Millar Drive off I-75. You ALL are invited to join in the fun. Then we can all nurse hangovers Saturday in the sun at the airport.   Every one have a safe, ticket free trip out there......

I would love to make it but i just bent a push rod (have no clue how it got bent)and twisted a rocker today so it will be 2 days before the parts get here.  Would have been a nice test for the new transmission !

plus she is not really looking to pretty right now
You might want to check your rocker arms they may be too tight too tight.
Or valve to piston clearance too tight. To me it sounds like piston hit valve.

Right now we will have about 6 to 8 people there on Thursday night including some of the guys local here in my club.  We will also have about 15 cars leaving from here Friday Morning, we will pick up another 7 cars about an hour South, and pik up another 4 cars in Columbus.  So right now we will have 26 cars in the Caravn.  So, if you can make it anytime to meet us here, or even along the way, let me know.  It would be nice to see 50 Trans Ams roilling down the road.  I will have all of the information with the times and phone number and routes that we are taking posted up soon.

Hey Brett,
I'm hoping to make the Nats and I'd like to check your place out sometime but I'm a couple hours south west of Dayton as it is so it would be quite a trek up and then back down again.
Thanks for the invite anyway. Hope to see ya there.
