My 77 T/A was originally a 400 car but the original motor is long gone for whatever reason. It has a '69 400 in it now so I think. (apparently older 400's were a bit stronger somehow??? At least that's what the PO said). Anyway, I was looking through the engine code section of the site and I see it says not all engine codes are listed on there. My block is coded "YC". I'm unable to read the stamp on the bottom that reads the engine size. I checked the date codes by the distributor and IIRC the motor was built in late '68.
I was just curious if 1968 or 1969 had a "YC" coded 400 or not.
