in 78 it consisted 15x8 snowflake wheels,225/70R15 raised white letter tires, and bigger sway bars

in 79 four wheel disc brakes became part of the package.

Ok so what gear box am I going to look out for and the ws6 swaybars are 1.250" front  / 0.725" rear now how do i determine that?! The reason im doing this is to upgrade the handling of my care and just for the sake of having equipped my car with a ws6 package ;D!  And also pick up beefier leaf springs and shocks and coils? Thank you guys for all this help! Maxx

The front swaybars are the same for any trans am.  The gear box is a constant ratio for the WS6 and variable ratio without WS6.

Agreed. And you'd have to open the gearbox to see this (WS6 box)

And WS6 also included these braces at the subframe ;)

My WS6 rear sway bar is 3/4"(.750")diameter by my measuring...not much difference from the stated .725". So, just look for one that's 3/4".

For more info on the WS6 constant ratio steering gear, here's a thread I started at PY a couple years ago(can't believe it's been that long ago  :) ). It answers alot of questions about it:

They both could be right. The first one looks like the best bet, since he actually says it's from a 79 WS6 and is constant ratio. So, if he's right, that's the one. You can't tell from looking at it from the outside. You have to look under the lid to see if it looks like the photo shown above, or use the procedure described in the link to PY that I put in my last post.
