yeah, i figured since it was a pontiac motor, why not just paint it red  :) looks good in the car. PS: the car is running now but as the previous owner (16 years ago) put a single core radiator in the car with that 400, it was destined to fail. so thats why you guys got the rebuild shots.  ;D


The car spun #4 rod bearing, sat for 8 years, then the brother in law (guy in the pics) got me fired up again (kicked me in the a**) to get that motor rebuilt while i keep raising money to get the 455 done the right way. I dont know if you can make out my profile pic very well but that's what my TA looks like today. Minus the streamers lol.
Owned my Trans Am for 16 years now and it NEVER gets old. only better.

even though it wouldnt be my first color choice, I think its better than the nancy blue most of these motors are painted.
