no problem, i'll get some more pics hopefully next week, and the leak is in the front of the pan and my motor guys says it is just the seal, the new motor i'm putting in has a leak in the same place and he has to reseal that pan, so it's not a big problem, it only leaks about a dime size puddle in about 2 weeks of sitting i would say, so not enough to worry about. it does not burn any oil, no blue smoke or anything, can't smell it burning neither. it has good fuel pressure at 58lbs at start up and it goes down to about 35-40 after warmed up in gear. any oil it does loose is thru the pan leak and it's a very small amount. i would recommend resealing the pan though if you take it since you'll have easy access to it. oh and one thing i forgot that you'll need is a dipstick and tube(including the small tube inside the pan keeping the stick away from the crank) these are like 15 bucks at autozone, so nothing outrageous. i'm sorry i have no idea how many miles are on it because my odometer stopped and i don't know when the motor was put in my car(not original motor), i would say maybe 50-70 thousand, as the car was only driven in the summer even before i had it. i would like to get 300 for the carb, and that includes the dual fuel rail and guage and a set of secondary springs. the carb new cost 340 and the guage and springs were about 50 bucks together. let me know about the carb at least because it is pending on TAC forum which is currently down so i can't respond to the post about it. thanx

I am interested in putting something in my 79 T/A in place of my 403 that will have a little more Git-e-up to it.  Will the 400 fit with my automatic transmission?  Also, what upgrades have been done to add power, and how much power are we talkin?  Also, what condition are the headers in?  Thanks

Final poster of my car, and yes, that's my lady as well.

well i had a Th350 behind it so you should be fine there, it has s double roller chain and gears but needs replaced ($90), and i just found this out when the motor came out, it needs new valve springs, and maybe rods. the guy that built my motor said he would fix all that for the buyer and then ship it out, or if you know how to do that stuff yourself then you'll save some cash but he's a pontiac specialist so i recommend it. i think the motor is putting out about 250 horse, it'll put you back in the seat. as for the headers, they are only 2 years old but came w/ that black paint that burnt off in about a month, so now they look kinda bad, but in a pontiac you don't see much of the headers any way. i do have another guy interested so please let me know. and the price is neg. cause of the new found valve spring problem. any more questions, feel free to ask. thanx

Might sound like a dumb question, but whereabouts in Ohio are you?  I just moved to this state, so I don't know it very well; I'm in Findlay which is about an hour south of Toledo.
