Thank you, it also came with a whole back half of another car with awesome rear quarters and my buddy owns a body shop so he will be doing the swap out. gonna cost me around $1600 for both sides to be in primer. I have a parts car that I   take whatever I need off of. The car for the most part is complete. And in surprisingly enough in decent shape considering how old it is. It is all original which is unheard of these days. And believe it or not, the guy before me had it stored in a barn on concrete, with mouse traps and moth balls everywhere, he started it every six months and I only changed out the fusible links and put a battery in it and it started right up... Aside from a little mishap with the wiring getting tangled up in the steering knuckle and pulling out of my distributer, i have been pretty fortunate. :D

That's really cool. Looks like the one Joe D (member here) is restoring. Does it really have the W72 400 and 4 speed?

Good trade . She's got tons of potential and can't wait to see her after a repaint

No the build sheet says it came with an olds 403 with auto trans and 285 or something like that for the rear end. it has the hwy gears instead of the fast ones. But he still gets up and moves! ;D
Yes I cant wait to give him that repaint. Slow and steady, I'm buying little things right know, mostly interior stuff and packing it away in my garage, cause as the body is getting restored I will be waiting to put in the interior. :D

Nice start and it appears as though you've traded 'up'. Good score and I hope it's a path to many good times. Pontiacs seem to do that with me. Keep us posted. Mike

Joe something I've been wondering since I saw your car, is it hood bird delete or did it just not get put back on after paint?

i think it did not get put back on, after all, who would want to cover up a $200 paint job that was done with a roller
