My 1981 TA
« on: April 10, 2014, 10:20:56 PM »
I have had my TA for 24 years. It now has a well built 1970 400, with a Cliff's 800cfm carb, rebuilt turbo350, and Pypes exhaust, but is otherwise stock.
This spring will see a new Powerbond balancer,  solid body mounts and sub-frame connectors, recovered seats (NE1 have any NOS Black Pimilco?) , headgaskets and PS pump rebuild.

Wow! that site looks good... thanks.
SMS sent me a sample of their aftermarket Pimilco...but it was not correct and very thin material.
If I have to redo whole interior because I cannot find a NOS match, then switching to a Hobnail kit
made more sense.
I hope they have some NOS Pimilco...it is a much heavier material than the SMS or new Hobnail.
