Well, we decided to buy this one, and will most likely will be used by Tony.  Our youngest son.  The Z is just going to cost WAY to much money to fix and parts are not easy to come by.

As you can see in this photo, I think Tony is in love.
Got an AWESOME deal on it too and it runs.

Yes, it needs work, and it will get done after See Ya is finished.

No cracks in the dash either!

Click on photo below.  I have more, which are kind of funny, but will post another time.

Tony was very upset when we told him that we were going to sell the Z.

But, Tony sat down and wrote out all the pro's and con's on both vehicles and realized that this bird would be MUCH easier to fix, and parts are so much easier to find, then the Z.

And the fact is that the deal that we got on this, we couldn't pass up.

Oh and See Ya is NOT on the back burner.  Matter of fact, she is almost done.  I say in about 4-5 weeks, the paint will go on.  Just waiting for the materials to get here.

Way to go Tony. Now YOU need to join the forum as well.

The interior, seats, carpet (very dirty) and healiner are shot though.  I also got another set of T-Tops with this car.

The stereo is wrong too, and the orginal is with the owner.  He is supposed to be sending that to me.

It's ok though, because this is mainly Tony's car and I don't think we are going to invest a lot of money into it just yet.  Just get it cleaned up good and in tip top running condition.

New sneakers are going on this week.

BTW, anyone know as to why I can't get on Pete's website?  F-Body?

Brings back memories of my 87 Formula.  That was a fun car, that I kicked the living crap out of and just couldn't break.  Should be a good first car for him, Congrats.

Good find. I like gen III's. Owned two of them. A 82 Camaro (not a Z) and a 83 TA (my first T-Top car). Loved them both and drove the wheels off 'em.

I'm sure he will love it.
