So I am assuming that most of you are sayng that since CC1 is not on the PHS report of this 79 SE that more than likely it didnt come with T-tops from the factory?

You gotta find that build sheet, PHS, (pretty high service) is only good for so much, It doesn't replace that build sheet like people think when they do it.

As far as I can tell, GM used the CC1 RPO code for t-tops all the way through 2002.

It was different for 1976 and 1977 tops, IIRC.

I could see that on the 1976 cars since they were built as hardtops and sent to Hurst for conversion. The Fisher Body tag and build sheet wouldn't have any information on that, right?

I did find in the Standard Catalog of Firebird 1967-2002 that at some point they did start using the CC1 RPO code for t-tops, it is mentioned on page 66 near the very bottom of the page, in the left column.

To my knowledge, in 1978, when both types of t-tops were used,  the new Fisher panel roofs received the RPO CC1 designation (previous to the development of Fisher panels,  RPO CC1 was designated for Hurst Hatch).  The Hurst Hatch roofs in 1978 were designated as RPO WY9.
