Just got a 78 T/A and the heater fan is not working. Any ideas for a possible quick fix. The fuse looks good.

get a test light and put the ignition key to the run position, then put the test light on the power wire outside of the blower motor on the firewall. mine is a brown wire. i do not know if yours will be the same color

Did the car have A/C that was removed?  You're either missing the ground or the motor is bad....that's my guess anyway.  The easiest way to isolate the problem is to pull the inner wheel well, measure for 12 volt at the motor connector.  If you've got 12 volt there, try a jumper from the motor housing to ground to see if it works.  If it does, run a new ground wire.  If it doesn't, replace the motor.

My heater worked but no fan when I bought my car. Took off my glove box & found a plug that had come loose back behind the radio. Plugged it in & it worked fine.
