77/78 Hood Bird Decal

Does anyone have some dimensions as far as how big/small the hood bird is?
I ask because I bought a bird from ebay (I would much rather cut up a $45 decal than a $300 decal) to put on my cowl hood)
Im ready to paint clear on it this week/weekend so I was laying the bird out to get ready to cut it and it seems kinda small.
I have about 43 inches tall and about 45 inches wide, but for some reason it just doesn't look right.
Appreciate any help.

Never mind, found out the dimensions are right.
But it looks so tiny :(.

I guess it does when it doesn't have a shaker above it.
