Should be able to,
I've seen people use glue to piece them back together when the lines are split.
I just don't know how hard it would be
If you have lots of spare rear glass, maybe you can try to do it on one that looks bad.
And let us know. ;) ;D

I just might! :P

Louvers though, eeew. Never been a fan of those. I don't mind them on early flat rear windows such as what you could get on the 70 Mustangs, but when it wraps around on the sides it just ruins the look.

Louvers look OK to me, and I use to have them for both my 1974 Trans Ams, and my 1981 Turbo Trans Am, but I got rid of them when I saw a few Club member's cars lose them, screwing up the paint on their cars, during some high speed runs on the Freeway.
To me, they make a thirdgen car looks like a turtle, but they do keep the car alittle bit cooler during the summer.
Maybe someday I'll get another set, but I am not in a rush. ;)

I'm not a fan of louvers either. I mean I like the looks. But I had them on my '86 Camaro when I first bought it. Then lost them in a duel with a 5.0. Lukily no one was trying to keep up. ;)
I am however a big fan of tinting. Just as long as it's done with safety in mind. I think it can really set off a car.

Louvers were the "in" thing back in the day.  I used to want a set for my 78 so bad, but I never got them.  Now, I think they're a little dated although my Daughter's '77 has them.  She doesn't like the limiting visibility but likes the fact that they keep the car cool.

Go for it!  The first thing I did when we bought our van was to tint the windows, now all the rear windows are a dark factory tint, and I used a light tint on the front, so you really can't tell.

I plan to have my rear window done since it will be out of the car for paint, still undecided about the sides, but most likely will do them since it will be a summer only car.  There is a place local here that will either spray them or use flim, which is better?

I bought a set of Louvers 3 years ago and I haven't installed them yet.  Does anybody know what adhesive I'm suppose to use, they are the plastic ones

As far as I know, they all pretty much used double sided foam tape to stick the brackets holding the louvers onto the car.
I never had plastic ones, so it just may use something else, but I think they would use the same thing.

A little silicone or weatherstripping adhesive might help, too.

You guys should do it yourself...it's not hard with some practice.

While I agree with this on the side glass, for a novice it could be very problematic on that curved rear glass.   I did my truck and it came out great! but I let a pro do the TA.
