Not worth the $500. I hate to see that. Especially with the recent additions to my collection. I think it is pretty common to let a car disintegrate into the soil........

What possesses people to just leave a car in a field for 30+ years? I mean, the car could have been sold. Amazing, just amazing.

There's lots more like that. The stories I could tell about SE's sitting in mudholes, Formulas left in the yard, etc... cars I know of and the owners refuse to sell. Most are parts cars now anyway. Some of them have pulled apart. And I have brought some home like that. At least they could donate some parts to another car.

I bet when the car was left there it wasn't worth squat. I remember when you could buy a '63 Vette with the split rear window for $3K. That formula's been sitting in that spot for years just rusting away because there was no value associated with it.

thats one of the worst cases of neglect and lazy ive seen, jeff. surprised he had the cohoneys to advertise it on ebay. a one owner, original 4 speed? look how straight and tight all the panels line up. wouldnt be surprised if the gears in the rear end are rust-locked.
