One of my favorites is ground breakfast sausage (hot) with a good box of mac and cheese.  Ground the breakfast sausage like you do hamburger, cook the mac & cheese (has to the best mac & cheese) throw in the cheese and sausage, mix well, enjoy!

My "favorite" meal?  A slab of beef over 1" thick and big enough to look like an aircraft carrier, right next to a gigantic pile of steak fries.  Meat cooked rare (RED inside) and fries seasoned with garlic salt.

But... if I eat like that the old cholesterol level shoots up from it's relatively healthy 175 to somewhere north of 240 and the triglycerides go nuts.  So I make due with a measely 12 ounce NY strip cut (no fat) and the steamed vegetables... helps hold the weight under 200 also...

T-bone steak, medium, seasoned steak fries, nice tossed salad with honey mustard, and two slabs of bread with enough garlic to drop a vampire at 40 paces.  And sweet iced tea.

I usually have a nice spiral sliced ham hanging around to munch on during the week.
when I go out,it's usually a nice steak.
Although working nights usually gets me lot's of visits to Denny's in the middle of the night.
A super sized nachos plate usually does the trick.

one of my wife's favoritte dishes that i cook is a Oven Baked Stew... Its really easy to prepare and takes about an hour.
Cut up steak, roast or Vinison in small cubes as well as your potatoes, carrots, celery, onions. Depending on size of pan ( large Pyrex casarole dish).

1 Tblspn of butter/ margarine          1 12oz can of beer
¼ cup of Steak sauce                     2 Tblspn of Worcestchire sauce
Salt, pepper, and a dash of garlic powder

Cover pan with aluminum foil and bake at 450° for 30 minutes, remove from oven  and stir contents, lightly cover with aluminum foil again and place back in oven for another 30 minutes or until potatoes are very very soft.

Every time I make this there is never any left over. Those concerned about the beer, the alcohol is baked off and actually seasons the meat and makes it extremely tender.

America (california): Sushi & Beer
London: Indian Curry and beer
