Shaker decal is correct for a '76...though the placement of the PONTIAC decal on the rear spoiler is wrong (it should be to the right of TRANS AM, not to the left).
Also the pinstriping should go completely across the bottom of the spoiler...there shouldn't be breaks where the words are.

Console may have been removed for the stereo but remember consoles were an option on manual transmission cars so it may have been originally ordered without a console.

Looking at its paperwork, it did not have a console option but is an SE. It must have been repainted and restriped at some time.

agreed, thought that looked weird. very nice car, but, needs the big motor to be really special
