Slow power steering
« on: March 31, 2012, 01:06:52 AM »
My power steering has been making noise on tight turns at lower rpm's.
I adde3d some fluid...and the noise went away..but turns seem slow.
Like the pump is working than not working...seems like hesitation.
The car has about 50,000 miles...can't believe the gearbox is worn.
Anyone suffer from power steering problems?

have you ad the system open for any reason ie new hose, new pump etc... if so you need to bleed it, simple thing, open the cap on the reservoir, with the engine running turn the wheel lock to lock (lef all the way/right all the way) then center and turn engine off for a min should see bubbles then repeat
