Hey guys,
Looking to get some new plugs for my Y84, what kind of plugs should I get? I'm considering NGK V-Power Model XR45 Plugs.
Are those ok, or do you guys have any better suggestions? I'm more for reliability over power.
Thanks folks!

I'd stick with the AC Delco's that it came with. Never had any issues with them over the years.

Is she still stock, Max?
-
wow really late reply from me but yeah, 100% stock 403, I'll modify my Macho T/A engine, but the Y84 stays as original possible

Stick to stock plugs, can't go wrong with Delco, or equivalents. Regap to about .040" since don't need smog rubbish and reset timing until it's happier, 18-22 ish. R46SZ is original, or R46S where you set your own gaps. Make sure it's the correct type, nearly every Olds heads or engine I've pulled down has had some variation of Chev or Holden plugs in them, simply because the thread matches, but wide variety of electrode positions.

The GM perf plugs are awesom, I run them in my 400. They make like 1,2,3,and 4's.

Well, he'll need all 8 plugs...jk..what's 1,2,3,and 4?
