Gauge Restoration
« on: January 12, 2011, 10:48:04 PM »
Has anyone ever used tach-man? I think the correct name is H&H Electronics in South Carolina. I'd like to have the gauges refaced for my 76 but I question their functionality also. I'd like to find somebody that can reface as well test and calibrate. Any suggestions?

But they only reface, right? Can they repair as well?

They are nice BUT...no Kmh markings. I've asked and the overlays aren't currently available with those on them.

I'll have to check them out. Do you know off hand what a TACH restore with clock restore runs? My Y88 could use both.

I really don't, John has done both my Pace Cars Gauge Restore and also my Corvette and
they were different prices as the Pace Cars were complete gauge restoration and my Corvette
was just re-calibration.

The last one I had done was on my Pace Car and the complete restoration on the entire
instrument cluster was around $300.00 or so IIRC.

He also has NOS gauge faces for some, as on my tach for the Pace Car was new and NOS.

Just give John a call, he is easy to talk to.

Daniel can also do full repair as well is worth giving him a shout, some of these companies will take you to town so options are great to have.

That is why I keep with the ones I have done business with for several years as some
are very deceptive these days.
