Topic: Q-Jet 7044202 DC on a stock 403

I have a rebuilt Q-Jet 7044202 DC collecting dust and a 79 Trans Am w/ the 403 Olds. All the googleing points to that carb being used on 1974 Chevy trucks w/ a 350.
Will this carb run the 403 well or should I not even try? Thanks.

Well don't really know where to go with all that. I'm still curious about the Q-Jet. I don't really know much about these cars and don't get the chance to work on ours very often, unfortunately. So still trying to learn. And this forum has not been sending me emails to notify me of responses, any idea how to fix that?
