Aftermarket brake booster
« on: November 29, 2015, 11:10:45 PM »
Has anyone used one of those aftermarket brake boosters, the smaller ones (7-8") from a company like Tuff Stuff?  I'm thinking I would like to try going smaller than factory with my build, since it touches my valve cover. Wondering if there may be an issue or negative side. Thanks

Wow. long time since your post in November and no one answers your question. I will try, I have a dual diaphram  brake booster on my '76 T/A that I got from Detroit Speed. A little modifying will need to be done, but it is simple. It will give you the room you need for your valve covers and will look much better. It is a 9" inch brake booster, hope this helps.
