Thanks. I know it will all come together. I talked to a family friend today and he is gonna help me with the welding this summer. I would like to get all the body work done this summer and start puting it back together next winter. I've started buying some parts but I am torn between buying new parts or restoring/dying the old ones? Since it's not a matching numbers car does it realy matter? I don't plan on selling it but would like to keep it as original as possible.

Nice start.  Keep us updated with your progress.  Is that motor a 305 or a 350 chevy.

To be honest I do not know? I know it came with the 305. But I do not think it is the original motor. It was my uncles car and he is not available to find out. I asked one of his friends today and he thinks my uncle put either a 350 or 400 in it. I wish it was original though.

One picture it looks like a Pontiac with a torker 1 intake than the one next to it looks like a chevy. Other pictures tell it is a chevy.

Yeah, I think it is the 350. I will probably stick with it for now but sometime after the restoration put a 400 in it. If it was the original motor I would have just cleaned it up and left it alone.
