Did you install the EFE on the drivers side exhaust?  I also think you'll need the emissions sticker on the radiator core support...did you find one for a four speed?

Your car is coming along great!  You'll have one of the few 78 four speeds in the state.  I doubt there's very many.

i did not install the efe, because i used the ram air 455 exaust manifolds, and i didnt order a emissions sticker yet, are they hard to find. and im not worried about a smog test, ill get it passed. i have never seen a 4 speed in a 78 t/a in person. and i have never driven a trans am before.

I think the four speed emission stickers are hard to find.  From what I understand, if you don't have that sticker they won't pass you.  But you might know someone who will give you a break on the visual.

Mine passed without all the vacuum lines connected the first inspection.  A few years later, it passed again with all the smog stuff properly connected.

Yeah, the four speeds are rare in California.

You might want to contact Jim at http://www.osborn-reproduction.com/
He does excellent repro decals and could probably make one for you if he doesn't carry it already.
(his decals are carried/sold by most of the big parts catalogs)
