Shouldn't there be a Y code on the cowl tag if it's an SE from Norwood?

Cowl tag info states "L" for Van Nuys plant.

Van Nuys didn't stamp Y codes on cowl tags. PHS is the ONLY way to verify true SE or not.

i see the pictures posted of the one t/a is a 79 he is correct guys. look at the dash, one speaker hole in the center not two on the sides. mr. ta specialties of florida doesnt always do things correctly as I noticed alot of his se sail birds are off.

I do have one question why the odd price at first then you drop the price to 7800 then put only a $1500 reserve on the car?
whats your actual asking price of the car?
Too many birds, not enough food.

Good question. Ill try to explain. My family is up my a** to sale it. Why? I really do not need the car. Its not a necessity right now. My family has promised me a 85 Z28 convertible. All I have to do is git rid of the TA and a couple of more family commitments I made. I have realized since I posted this, that no one will give me collector price. Fine.
The drop to $7800 was to buy a 81 corvette here local. No response on the $7800 listing.
Fine. I have since listed it at 6k on craigslist  Here:
http://dallas.craigslist.org/dal/cto/1400227077.html.
Lots of phone calls, but the car sits at 6k....
Why? I do not have a title. Why do I not have a title? Because I was lied to when I bought the car from the seller.
He told me he had one, he in fact did not. I do not want to shell out $700 for title work and transfer.
Someone could shell out (the new buyer) approx $125 for a bonded title.
I do not care at this point. The car really needs to be gone this week. I tried to list it on ebay, and after 4 min of the listing ebay without warning removed the ad, and suspsended my account at the same time. The reason was a bunch of blank emailed canned notes. I have no idea why I got suspended. I would like to get 6k for the car.
I paid 5k cash for the car, but I have already done some work to it myself and invested more money in it.
I could sale the car for 2k and still come out ok on my end as I have another car promised to me.
Any reasonable offers will not be refused. Even trades or partial trades. The car will come with a bill of sale that I was given, and I can write one up as well. I am one of the most honest straight up kinda guys you will ever meet.
The plan is now If I cant sale the car by this thursday I am going to apply for a bonded title and simply keep it.
If you or anyone else wants it, come and get it. Its still here. The car will drive on its own. I probably would not drive it over 100 miles to any one location, but it will drive and climb up on a trailor on its own.
Come and get it. My name is Teddy I am in Mesqute Texas, 75149 Phone again is 972-289-8256 call and we can discuss any and all of it.

it looks like a really old paint job. looking at the hood pics the way its rusted it looks like one of the off brand 4 piece bird kits not the one piece bird.

my car is a 79 301 4speed. I wish it had its motor. something like 1400 in 79.

I will sacrifice this car this week only for $2,000.00 I will take not one red cent less than that.

firm. it DOES NOT have a title, please do not ask. That is the reason for the low price, you will need to obtain a BONDED title. Comes with bill of sale ONLY. Please do not ask for a title as is does not come with one. I DO NOT HAVE ONE.  People still call and ask if it comes with a title????

Call me quick and make arrangements or it will be gone.

972-289-8256. Car is in Mesquite Tx 75149

Lesson learned. Moral of story.. NEVER buy a ANY car without a title under ANY circumstance.
