Got back from Vegas and started the computer and everything is screwed up more than it was before I left. Nothing updates and most of my sites I go to are now blocked by Microsoft saying the sites have invalid or out of date certificates, WTF.. Iknow the kids have downloaded HUNDREDS of music files, so I betting I have a sick computer. I think it's terminal.

Check & replace the internal battery in your computer.

Seriously, it may be as simple as replacing the internal battery.  Double click on the time in the lower right hand corner.  What date does it show?  Is it way off?  When the internal battery goes bad the computer won't hold the correct date.  Without the correct date your certificates won't be valid.

Just a suggestion and easy to replace.  If the date is correct and remains correct, it's not the battery.   But this has happened to me before.

I checked the time and it said Jan. 1, 2005. I reset everything and I'll see if it keeps the correct time and date. I'f it doesn't, I'll try the battery like you suggested. Thanks for your help!!! You all are a great bunch of guys!! :)

With your date at Jan 2005, I GUARANTEE your problem is with your CMOS battery.  Easy to fix.
