Interesting blanket over the floorplan - looks like aircraft blankets.

Just shipping blankets, I use them on the Yachts I work on. I pinch two new ones for the T/A

PAt, what do you do for a living?  Yachts, sounds like a heck of a job.

Disassembled the shifter tonight but I need to send the shifter shaft to Paul’s Chrome to be re-chromed before a can reassemble and install the shifter in the car.

It’s cool that most here enjoy the pictures and the progress on the T/A. I know I enjoy the restoration and posting the pictures & sharing progress and most of all the nice comments!
Thank You All!

Hey, where you work isn't that far from me at all! Are you in VA or MD?

That shifter looks good, what did you do to it?

I've done a few of those recently. I'm guessing some sand or soda blasting and, from the color, some cast blast spray paint.

Looks great as usual.....

I'd like to have a couple shifter shafts rechromed as well. How much does it run at Pauls? I've heard they are expensive though you probably get a volume discount.  ;)

I sand blasted the rust off, and I have found that Rustoleum  #7519 Stainless Steel paint looks the most like unpainted steel. I’ll let you know what Paul’s charges to re-chrome the shifter I’m guessing about $50?? And yes I live in Edgewater MD, just south of Annapolis
Thanks!
